Origins of the program
PaydayPERX started off with the radical idea of offering Payroll stock free to employers, and selling advertising space on the stock to cover the cost and make a profit. We expanded into providing discounts on-line to employees on electronic paychecks and corporate intranets, and we still know the value advertisers place on getting their message to employees on payday. But our commitment is to our end-users, the employees at companies that distribute their payroll on our paper stock or that use a customized online discount site; our goal is to have a variety of 'wow, that's a great offer' discounts, high-demand items and special programs on our check stock and websites so that the real benefit is to the employee. Employees like the discounts, employers like eliminating an otherwise unavoidable cost off the bottom line, and advertisers like getting their messages to interested potential customers with cash-in-hand.
